This National Day, we discover a unique page of UAE history through the lens of Rashad Bukhash, Anas’s own father. Mr. Bukhash has been Chairman of the UAE’s Architectural Heritage Society since 2003; he personally supervised the conservation of more than 215 historic buildings in Dubai and across the Emirates. As we weave through the alleys of iconic locations, we relive first-hand stories of how they came to be, what they mean to the UAE, Mr. Rashad’s personal connections and memories around them, and more.
